We will never forget the catastrophic bush fires of last summer. Blood-red skies, choking smoke and the tragic loss of human life, as well as the destruction of homes and livelihoods across the country.

These fires also led to the death of over 6,000 koalas in NSW alone - the biggest single loss of this beautiful, unique Australian species in modern history. Our precious Aussie icon is now in a full-blown extinction crisis.

Could you imagine our Australian landscape without a single koala left? These Aussie icons are part of our legacy - if we lose them, we will have failed our children and the generations to follow.

Basford Brands have a plan to help save them! In response to this, we are launching our Ecostar Bags campaign to help raise money for a cause close to our hearts.

We have kicked off the campaign with a $2000 donation, but with your help and the Australian people, we hope to donate much more than this over the next 12 months!

As our first target we hope to achieve $10,000!

Our Ecostar bags are made out of our beautiful left over fabric cuttings, which will minimise our contribution to landfill and help toward saving Koala’s all around Australia.

Since the fabric cuttings are random each bag you receive is unique and one of a kind and are great for carrying sample boxes, hangers, groceries and more!

Buy a bag, help the environment, save a koala! The Ecostar bags will be available for purchase online here for $3.00 and, with every bag sold we will donate $1.50 (50%) to WWF Koala Fund Australia.
